These gauges use a tuning fork, fluid cell system as the main components. This system has proven to be the most reliable for these types of operating conditions.
Plug in the power supply (gray box) on the back of the gauge, the unit should be ON and the LED should be lit.

The Model YKN-150 LED Light Pump Pressure Gauge main application is the measuring of pulsing pressure such as seen in mud pumps and standpipes, it can also be used for measuring steady pressure in other applications. The dampening parts of the Pump Pressure Gauge work in the whole pressure range of the gauge and no adjustment is necessary. The Pump Pressure Gauge indicates steady as well as large pressure changes equally well. The fluid inside of the gauge serves as a damper in high vibration applications and needs to be left in the gauge at all times.
The Pump Pressure Gauge is protected from the medium being pumped at all times and no medium should ever enter the gauge which would cause damage to the gauge. The Model YKN-150 Pump Pressure Gauge is totally waterproof and is built to operate in the harshest environments.
